A Baby Shower for Jen!

One of my Font Friday friends, Jen from Blush Printables, is due with her first baby any day now! She is having a little girl and the Font Friday girls and I thought it would be fun to throw her a little shower. I pulled together this little 5x7 print for Chloe's nursury. The font I used is Alexandria FLF by Casady & Greene and as a little bonus to you, it's FREE!

Exciting News ....

Be forewarned, this is going to be a tease, I’m just too excited to keep my mouth zipped tight any longer.

I’m rebranding!

The website still needs a few tweaks here and there before we can officially unveil, but let’s just say there are lots of exciting new products and we have been working hard to incorporate a shopping cart directly into the site making ordering your favorite products a whole lot easier.

To tide you over here is a snippet from the intro post :

Two years ago, when I started this business I could not fathom the idea of how both myself and my life would change with the addition of this little venture. Like many businesses starting out I quickly conceived the name ‘4th&Folded’ one weekend, eager to put myself out there and capture my first customer.

Regretfully, I have never been attached to it like I should be. I’m very passionate about my business, about creating and design, and feel that I should be equally passionate about the name that stands for it. I knew I wanted my new brand to be more of a reflection of myself, based on nothing more than everything I love and what I want to stand behind. After much deliberation, I have decided that 4th&Folded will be no more, and in its place will stand ………

FONT FRIDAY :: Emily Lime

Font Crush : Emily Lime

This font is the first font released by the Emily Lime Designs foundary. According to the designer, Emily Conners, "It’s a fun, fully connected script with open type features to help with flow and readability. This great handwriting font includes other features to help make each creation unique and interesting - swashes, letter embellishments, alternates, etc. Plus, it has a separate font to build-your-own frames!"

The Pro version is a steal at $29 and includes all you see above (and more!). It can now be purchased on myfonts.com but the artist/designer actually has an Etsy store as well (if you want to purchase straight from the source!)

I look forward to seeing more from this up and coming designer.

As you may have assumed I have a thing for fonts. They come in all shapes and sizes with elaborate swashes and elegant details. The right font can easily make or break a design. Recent Acquistion : Matilde

I've been trying to cut back on my spending recently (all daily shopping emails are immediately deleted) so I have another free font for you again this week! Back-to-back free fonts, is there really anything better?

The font includes both Regular and Sketch variations PLUS frames and patterns, be still my heart. Matilde was designed by The Type Depot and can be downloaded here.
